Rasta Taco's founder Mario "Maji" Melendez is an Orange County native who has traveled and lived around the world, and even received his MBA in Alicante, Spain. A born entrepreneur, his first business took off in high school. He designed and sold t-shirts that led to his popular MAJI apparel line. For the past five years, his focus is Rasta Taco, a gourmet taco cart catering business that serves incredible fresh tacos, and more, at parties, events and weddings throughout SoCal. (It's a fave catering company of the surf, snow, and skate industries.) Rasta Taco is the perfect blend of Melendez's love of the Jamaican laid-back lifestyle, delicious fresh flavors (try his fave carne asada with jalapeno salsa) and dedication to community and customer service. Melendez cares about local non-profits by catering events including Surfrider, John Wayne Cancer Foundation and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
